What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit our website. They help us provide a better browsing experience by remembering your preferences and understanding how you use our site.

This site also uses browser local storage, which works in a similar way but is only ever read by your own browser. It is listed below alongside the cookies.

Types of cookies we use

Essential cookies

These are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off.

  • Session cookies: remember your form data during booking.
  • Security cookies: protect against spam and abuse.

Functional cookies

These enhance your experience by remembering preferences.

  • Cookie choice: remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics so we do not ask again.
  • Admin authentication: keeps admin users signed in. Only set when a member of staff logs in to the admin page.

Analytics cookies (optional)

These help us understand how visitors use our website.

  • Google Analytics: visitor statistics and behaviour insight.
  • Performance monitoring: site speed and reliability.

Google Analytics only loads after you choose "Accept all" or enable analytics in Cookie settings. If you do neither, no analytics cookies are set.
